About

Christina Chen is a multidisciplinary designer. Upon receiving a Bachelor of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University, she proceeded to intern at an interior design firm. She decided to expand her scale of design possibilities by shifting her focus to industrial design. This shift has given her experience in various mediums including wood, ceramics, and textiles.

Christina received a Master of Industrial Design degree from the Rhode Island School of Design, where she worked on a thesis that explored ideas behind cultural expression through apparel. Focusing on digital processes and experimentation through iteration, she seeks to bring textile innovation into the modern age of technology, all while speaking to contemporary issues of today's society.
